Trying to improve

I'm trying to understand the human body more intuitively by practicing but I haven't done life drawing for a while so any tips on measuring by eye and just any general critique would be appreciated :)

Done as part of a practice session with poses of 7 minutes in length.

My current goal is: Better understand human anatomy, so I can render imagined poses

Polyvios Animations

Good morning, Harri Jo, it's me, Polyvios Animations. I'm doing great yesterday, how are you? Say, I must completely think that you really know what you're doing in terms of muscles and bones, and in terms of construction in 3d primitives. Way to go and keep going on those.

My big criticism constructively is that the size relationships of the feet in proportions and angles look a bit too uneven, though they all seem a bit more natural. And as for the human anatomy, I'm not getting enough of the looseness and the life in the organic pose and forms. Please why don't you loosen up your pose from your imaginations with a 5 minute anatomy warm-up, but that's not all, I'd recommend this here link right here on human proporitons?

The reason why you could and should go ahead is because of two reasons: 1) to get your hand more looser with your organic drawings of lines, shapes, spaces, and forms of the human figure. 2) To learn your human relationships a little bit more better quicker. But guess what, I totally feel your quick sketching would be universally applicable to your proprotions warm-ups. My hat's off to you, and I hope these tricks have helped you out.

Nice capture of the hanging pose Harri Jo! The feet presented a bit of a foreshortening challenge that wasn't intended - I'm too tall to hang straight - so I appreciate the porportions you've captured.

This is very nice, and the proportions are accurate. The only thing that's missing is muscle tension. Since the figure is mid-pull, there would be more definition throughout the arms and the upper back. Right now the figure just looks stiff and not as if it's going through a workout. It doesn't hold life in it.
